Gorgeous Victorian Scottish agate bracelet, c 1870s.Fine specimen stones incased in sterling silver (tested) mounts.The clasp tongue is made from base metal for strength,it fastens with a good click and it is very secure.The bracelet is approx 7.6\"(19.5cm) long,the largest stone is 1.8\"(4.6cm) by 1.3\"(3.4cm).One stone has an underpolished natural flaw at the back,left to preserve the size of the stone.One of the moss agate stones has a couple of small chips near the silver mount,I believe this happenedduring the manufacturing process/setting.Otherwise - beautiful condition, minimum wear. Stunning piece.
