This is a gorgeous late 1800\'s 5 stone diamond ring which was originally purchased in London! All diamonds are the beautifully hand cut old mine diamonds with the higher crown and the deeper depth, which allows for a tremendous amount of light to reflect through, this ring has a star like glisten to it...quite beautiful in person. The overall condition is \"very good\" for it\'s age with all diamonds securely held in the platinum prong settings and the remainder of the band being crafted in yellow gold. All diamonds in this ring were hand cut in the 1800\'s, each is a bit different yet all sparkle beautifully together. Though this does not take away from the beauty of this old ring in my opinion, I will mention (for those who are not familiar with these older cuts) that one side diamond to the right of the main stone was created with a larger open cutlet (as seen in photo#4 and the last up close photo), it is therefore a tad bit darker in overall color than the other diamonds. This is part of the charm of such an old handcrafted ring. I have only seen less than a handful of this type of Victorian 5 diamond old mine cut ring listed, the listings I have seen are priced around or close to $3400-$4000 for similar or same total carat weights, I have priced this ring very well and very competitively for a quick sale. Clarity is beautiful as I see no cloudiness in these old cut diamonds (see photo\'s) and color appears to be in the near colorless range. Carat weight is approximate as the stones have not been removed for exact carat weight. Center stone: .50 cttw / 2 side stones flanking the center stone .20 carats each / 2 end side stones .10 carats each, for a total carat weight of 1.10. Due to the age of this ring, the inside markings have worn off, however, the ring has tested for 18k (yellow gold) and the diamonds are all set securely in platinum. Ring size is currently a 6 1/2 and is re-sizable by your local jeweler if need be. Gorgeous ring in person! Shipping includes insurance, signature confirmation and priority mail.
