My dress form is a modern size four and this dress is smaller than my dress form.

Spectacular, antique late 1930\'s or 40\'s Connie Carter Originals coat dress.

Adorable and elegant.

Gorgeous trapunto details on the shoulders and pockets.

Unlined.

No size or fabric content tag that I see.

Beautiful studded buttons down the front...two buttons are lacking the center stud....see photos.

Some minor loose threads on the trapunto details...commensurate with age..see photos.

Overall excellent condition, particularly for a garment that is over 70 years old.

Underarm to underarm 15 inches.

Bust 32 inches.

Across the top, shoulder seam to shoulder seam 13 inches.

Back length 32 inches.

Sleeve length (from base neck seam to end of sleeve) 19 inches.

Skirt waist, 24 inches.

Low hip, 32 inches.

It is antique, and all the imperfections that have occurred only add to its charm and uniqueness.

If you are expecting it to be new in the box, never touched by life or human hands, it is not for you.
