Up for sale is a spectacular cast iron M.H.T. C. ( Myers Hay Tool Co. ) barn pulley in excellent condition. It is 11 1/2\" tall and the sheave is 5 3/4\" in diameter. Some of the frames on these old barn pulleys are beautiful works of art with tons of detail. The sheave is in very good condition with a few normal age cracks and has been lightly sanded and clear coated to bring out the woods beautiful color. The frame has been stripped of all rust then meticulously detailed to highlight the beauty of the cast iron and finally finished in a protective clear coat. There are no breaks or repairs. Theeye hook swivels and the sheave turns freely. Barn pulleys make great rustic decorators and are verycollectible.
