Notable Features:This necklace was handmade during the Retro period of the Art Deco era. The necklace features rounded and polished cultured pearls throughout its three strands. The pearls showcase a beautiful, lustrous cream hue throughout each of the pearls. Each pearl was individually hand strung on white silk string on three strands, which graduate in length. The necklace is finished off with a 14k yellow gold clasp in the shape of a lily pad, which adds a touch of detail to this piece. At 16\" of wearable length, the necklace rests along the collar bones on most people and beautifully accents the neckline with the longest strand resting below the collar bones. The necklace can be worn traditionally with the clasp behind the neck, or turned around to have the clasp act as a pendant for added detail. During the Art Deco period jewelers often made jewelry upon custom order, this would often take weeks to months to completely craft by hand.
