Antique Vintage Early 1900s 14K YG Green Mineral Stone Ring TINY Size 2.5:

This one stumps us more than any ring we have sold or seen - The setting is very similar to a handful of late 1800s/very early 1900s rings we have had in recent years. The stone appears to be jade, but at closer inspection, it is unpolished and full of natural cracks and divots, etc. It goes without saying, we do not know what the stone is. Given the fact it is set in 14K, we assume it to be a \"real\" something. It is 12.2 X 7.9 mm. The ring is marked 14K and has a tiny maker mark we can\'t read. It also has a primitively etched star next to that. Acid tested solid 14K. If you happen to know what it is - please let us know!And if all that mystery is not enough, it is a size 2 1/2 on our mandrel. Our guess is it is a pinky ring for a tiny woman, as the top is too big for a child. It can be sized up 1 or 2 sizes by your local jeweler.
