Offered for sale is one vintage or antiqueHubley #479 cast iron basket of flowers doorstop or bookend measuring 5 ½” tall. Researchindicates this is one of Hubley’s hard to find molds of roses and lilacs. Itappears to be repainted with chips in the paint and some of the original paintcan be seen underneath. It also has some surface rust commonly found on antiquecast iron. This fabulous piece weighs in at a tad over 1 lb. before wrappingand packing for shipping. No chips,cracks, breaks or repairs could be found in the cast iron on this great pieceof American history.
