This is definitely the most beautiful antique sheet I have been able tofind this year.

All hand embroidered, with raised plumetis monogram C.A. and embroidery onthe scalloped hem. It is in superb condition, no marks or thinning and the handembroidery is excellent. Across the full width the hem is scallopedand embroidered with ears of wheat. This symbolises fertility…perfect for atrousseau sheet which bears the initials of the betrothed. The wheat earschange direction at the centre point and the monogram also contains a wheatear, attention to details like this denotes an expensive high quality sheet.The C.A. monogram is inan area over 6 inches high by 12 inches wide.

This sheet is very long, allowing adeep turn back to show off the fantastic scalloped hemline and delicateladder-work, as well as the monogram.

It is freshly laundered, with the top 30 inches lightly starched to give your bed a beautiful crisp return. This wouldmake an unusual and delightful wedding gift or a perfect addition to ahoneymoon suite.
