Early 20th Century French Glass Pendant Candle Ceiling Light or Lantern
This is possibly a church light and has a hand made, amber coloured, glass cylindrical shade. The shade is decorated with hand cut leaf, branch and flower motifs. It takes a single candle which is housed in a small candle holder which pulls down out of the lantern with a chain pulley system mechanism- please see photos.Very unusual and pretty ceiling light.This could also be electrified should it be required by means of including a hanging bulb down the centre. CONDITION: In very good original condition. No damage, cracks or chips to the glass. Striations in the glass in line with being hand made. Metal work and chains all original. Please see photos.
