Offering a smallwoman\'s orgirl\'s black velvet cap with gold metallic braid - looks silver in the photos but is more goldish in colour in person- velvet is very matt so also difficult to photograph. Black lace around the perimeter of the outside of the cap which ends at the base of the neckline, which is a nice effect with the gold braid. Measuresapprox. 12\" - a string under the chin. Lined in a kind of black polished cotton. Could be a widow\'s cap. Just picked it up on a recent trip to Europe - in either Switzerland or Germany. Hat stand is not included.
