Antique Vintage HORSE SHOE Chocolate Mold. This is a German Mold made and signed Anton Reiche, Dresden, Germany. The mold is signed with the numbers 4551 and the name Anton Reiche and the date 1925. The Mold measures 4 1/2\" tall by 4 1/2\" wide and is 1 1/4\" deep. In Very Very good used antique condition. This HORSE SHOE mold is unusual because of the big metal back. It sets off the table by 1/3\" so you can slam the chocolate candy out ! First Anton Reiche Mold I have ever seen with this design. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and some rust and the usual wear and tear - all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina from almost 100 years of usage! This mold was in service many many decades, but is in Fabulous nice condition. You don\'t find many HORSE SHOE Chocolate Molds so I would say this mold is on the rare side. There is a similar a photo of a Horse Shoe Chocolate Mold in CHOCOLATE MOLDS by Wendy Mullen. Page 241. Would be a great mold to use for the Kentucky Derby!
