Hereis a very nice James Spence, St Andrews Scotland (Blackwell 55), hickoryshafted special putter, circa 1900’s. This clubhas a lined scored face pattern. The markings on the head very clean andvisible. Its condition is good and it shows very little ware and marks.The club was cleaned and the head was carefully hand-polished to remove theoxidation and years of neglect.

The head measures a lengthy 4 inches and the club face in 1.25 inch deep. The club is approximately 35 inches long.

The shaft appears to be the original shaft and the grip appears to be original,in good condition with normal wear and tear, see photos. The head is tight tothe hosel when you twist it, and no cracks to the hosel. This club would makean excellent players club or a great addition to anyone’s collection.
