I got this sign in 1990 from a 92 year old man that worked for what is now the NYCDOT. He worked in the city in the 1920\'s. He personally removed this sign after the sign pole was struck and damaged in a car accident. Has some scratches but overall great condition. Never cleaned. Double sided enamel. While you do see these signs occasionally for sale, they are getting more difficult to come by. Great west side address. Very collectible and rare. Must have for the collector. Very cool piece. Don\'t miss out.
