This isan Antique / Vintage Primitive Wooden Noise Maker / Clacker, Made in Japan.

The body of this large noise maker is about 7 1/2\" x 3 1/2\" x 15/16\". The turned wooden handle extends about 3 1/2\".

The wooden parts of the body are lightly stained with red and green, with the exception of the three sticks that produce the sound that are natural color. The noisemaker is assemble withd nails with a criss-cross pattern on the heads.

One side panel is stamped \"MADE IN JAPAN\", as seen in a close up photo, and in the photo with the ruler, adjacent to the 4\" mark on the ruler.

At the time of the original listing, this was one of three new listings being added for vintage noisemakers.

Condition

The noise maker has a small 3/16\" dark spot of color variation on one red panel and a minor superficial crack mark on the red panel on the opposite side. These are both very minor. The noisemaker is otherwise in wonderful condition and the sound is quite loud. We will guarantee your satisfaction with the condition, the operation, and the sound.
