A incredibly good, classical Scandinavian Coffee/Tea Pot or water Kettle, brass/copper, with a turned wooden handle... insulation for the hand!
Very well crafted, super tongue & groove type joints, the bottom appears to have a reinforced construction - to take repeated heatings over a flame, tinned interior.
The lid has an impressed/stamped heraldic signature: Crown over Crossed Arrows on Shield & is a nice tight fit.The 3 legs & handle are beautifully riveted to the body - with classic Scandinavian heart detail.The spout a delightful hinged lid!
