Antique/Vintage Silver Plated Vanity Set (3 pieces)This was my mother\'s set that sat on her dresser for years. If I had to guess, she likely bought it in the 1960\'s. I\'m unsure what type of silver plating this is and I can\'t find any makers mark. My mom used the set for decoration only. Pattern is very ornate or Victorian in style.
Condition: GOOD - Since brush was never used on hair, it still has original shape and is very clean. Plastic on comb, as well as plastic on the brush is slightly yellowed. All teeth are in tact on the comb. Silver is clean, but probably needs a good polish. There are a few spots that may be able to be polished off. The mirror has no chips or cracks, but is suffering from some \"mirror rot\" around the edges, which is where the some of the mirror backing has worn off and the silver nitrate & copper sulfate has oxidized.
