Up for sale is this Solid Sterling Silver Curved Cigarette Case, with an ornate monogram that reads "GBB". It weighs 104 grams, or 3.7 ounces, or 3.343 troy ounces and measures 3 1/4" square. It is curved to fit a pocket. It\'s in excellent condition, but there are a few very tiny dents and minor shallow scratches to the back side, commensurate with the age of the piece. It opens easily and closes securely. The inside is also beautiful, and the piece that holds the cigarettes in place is spring loaded and also works perfectly. It is marked STERLING but I can\'t find any makers mark. It has been hand polished and blitz clothed- no tarn-x was used. It has belonged in the family for many years- since 1927 or 1928- and has been carefully packed away. Included is the fitted chamois pouch that it has lived in all these years.

Although I do my very best to keep my cat away from my items, if you are allergic to cats please keep this in mind when offerding. I always post pictures (usually a lot of them) to help you with your decision- please look at all the pictures, since they are considered part of the description. The color of an item may be slightly or somewhat different than it appears on your computer screen, since there is such a wide variation in monitors.
Please contact me and give me the opportunity to resolve an issue before you leave anything but a 5 star positive response. I never intentionally misrepresent an item or try to deceive anyone in any way. I always describe my items as accurately as possible, with no attempt to oversell the condition or quality. I try to point out any defects or flaws so that you know exactly what you are getting. However, if you are not satisfied please let me know within three days of receiving the item and every effort will be made to resolve the issue. Communication is the key.
I will gladly refund the purchase price (upon return of the item in its original condition) if I misstated anything or overlooked a significant flaw in the item. Otherwise- sales are final. But if a return is mutually agreed upon, the buyer must return the item packed and protected in the same manner as I shipped it out, and using the same shipping method in which I shipped it out in the first place- for instance, if I sent it insured and/or with a signature required, that\'s the way it must be sent back. These extra services would only be used in the case of an expensive item, for everyone\'s protection.

I pack very carefully and ship very quickly- usually the next business day after I receive your cleared PayPal payment. For international shipping, I strongly prefer to use US PostalService International Express Mail, insured, with signature confirmation required. In certain cases I may allow the use of USPostalService Priority Mail, which is cheaper and does not require signature confirmation. This is a less secure method, and I will not be responsible if the item gets lost in transit. Please inquire before offerding, if interested in Priority rather than Express. Please be aware that some countries do not allow certain items (such as jewelry) into their borders- this is beyond my control, and not the decision of the US but rather the decision of the other country. Also, please be aware that international shipping may result in you having to pay customs fees, and perhaps experience customs-related delays. All of this is obviously also beyond my control.

The only form of payment I accept is PayPal, unless you live in my local area and pick up the item directly from me, in which case I would accept cash. I expect your PayPal payment to be made within 2 days of the end of the sale. If the PayPal payment is not made within 4 days of the end of the sale, I will open an \"unpaid item\" case with and then be able to offer to sell the item to other buyers.
