Beautiful delicate French Tambour lace net runner. Fabulous distinct design, with many raised embroidered ares. Please look at pictures.
Light cream color, features fleur de lis, and flowers and a \"rustic\" weave in the pattern.
Scalloped edges, with raised embroidery.
Fabulous center design, fleur de lis, swags, and other design. This from early 1900\'s. Condition is very good. This has two pale storage spots,very hard to see. This lace appears ro be unused, and was purchased from a very old estate, and this has been stored away, unused for many years. There are 2 very tiny pops in the lace. As you can see in the many pictures, you can\'t see the pops. I went over the lace very carefully to find the tiny pops.
The design is very unique.
The lace is pieced together, I also show pictures of this. This is the way these were constructed in the early 1900\'s.
The lace is strong and supple, has original the sizing, to act as a protective filler or glaze. Sizing is used for Textiles.Measures approximately 35 1/4\" x14\".
