The History
The Piece
This pin includes four incredible Salmon Coral carvings! The Salmon Coral are carved to look like complex Chrysanthemum flowers that are mid bloom. The flowers include an incredible amount of fine detail including the shape of each petal, and how each petal encompassesthe next as you go down the flower! You can even see detailed portions of the textured center of the flower bud if you look closely enough!
The Salmon Coral includes its signature salmon orange color, with some slightly lighter hues throughout that make for a great color pattern.
The design of this piece includes classic Victorian Era craftsmanship throughout! The design features Etruscan granulated beads around each coral carving setting, and a pine cone & flower design near the bottom! The designs are detailed with hand carved features and include a smooth polished surface.
The pin measures 2\" long by just under 2\" wide and is finished with a \"C\" style pin catch that works perfectly.
