Split-Leg Bloomers
Thesebloomersfrom the 1900\'s are a classic style with the split-leg. Nicely made creamy color. They are handstitched and made of a fine sheer cotton, possibly lawn. They have extremely full leg openings, 58 inches each. The bottom edge is adorned with scallops with an embroidered finish edging. There is also a 9 inch wide embroidered eyelet floral design on each side, with the initials \"SD\" embroidered. This matches the hanky that is listed. The bloomers fasten at the waist with a single mother-of-pearl button on the side. I found one small 1/2 inch repair and some light dirt smudges, therefore, a gentle cleaning is needed. The inside of the waistband has the a small name tag stitched to it with the name, \"Susan E. Davis\". I will leave the cleaning to the new owner. The waist measures approximately 24 inches and the length is approximately 22.5 inches.
