Up for sale is this antique electric adding machine. It\'s a \"Burroughs\" and it looks like it\'s from \"Rochester, NY\". I plugged it in and it powers right up. When you push the +, - or \"total\" keys the paper roll advances. Nothing prints, I assume the ink ribbon is bone-dry. I think the steel \"type-keys\" on top are suppose to move up when number-keys are pushed and the motor runs, but they don\'t. Not sure I\'m right about how this machine functions but thought you should now. Machine measures approximately 13\"x 9\"x 9\" and weighs over 28 pounds!Please view pictures above for more details as items are listed as seen.This item comes from a smoke-free home.
