Von Schierholz hand painted centerpiece bowl, Dresden, GermanyGorgeous footed bowl, gold trim, openwork or \"pierced\" around top, capodimonte floral on out sides, rose and other florals painted inside bowl, 4 curved feet, marked on bottom \"Von Schierholz handmalerei\" with green shield and another stamp \"Made in Germany\" round circle. These marks were in use from 1914-1930s and I would guess this piece is from the 1920s. The only certainty remains that it is early 20th century. 8 1/2\" x 7 3/4\" oval.In great shape, clean and nice. Capodimonte flowers have some chips here and there, see the photographs and look carefully to consider the condition. From a distance the chips are not seen. Shipped via Priority Mail.
