Found at an estate sale: a wonderful little collection of antique elfinware porcelain items made by C.G. Schierholz & Sohn, or Von Schierholz, Germany, around 1905-1912. Mark on underside. Offered here is a fantastic large woven handled basket featuring delicate tiny blue forget-me-not flowers with blush pink rosebuds within, all embellishing the rim. Extremelydelicate workthroughout with basketweave bottom and gilded handles and trim.A real show-stopper. While it is theoretically possible there could be a tiny chip on a blue petal somewhere, I see absolutely NO chips (or cracks or breaks or repairs) anywhere.
