A beautiful and unique transitional necklace that shows influences from both the Arts & Crafts era and early Art Deco design. The links and pendants are quite thin so the necklace has a delicate weight and feel and lays very flush when worn. The links of the necklace are a special detail as they have the same scrolling lyrical movment as the design of the pendants do. The rounded triangular pendants have a geometric quality that frames the neck strikingly and was a popular design motif during the 1920s - 30s and this necklace is an early example. While this necklace is not signed it has the detail and quality of construction in a designer piece. The necklace is fresh looking without any irregularities to the setting, no signs of repair and the piece has a fresh patina. Overall this is a striking and uniquely designed, Art Deco silver necklace, that is from the early 1900’s - 1910’s that is in Excellent condition.
