Outstanding Early Antique Huge Cast Iron Industrial Caster or Wheel Set of 4 - acquired through a friend who works for the Massachusetts railroad service - these were removed from a very old factory or utility cart and are a wonderful find for collectors, interior decorators and designers, and for industrial machine age and steampunk collectors too
This terrific old set of 4 were removed from a single railroad factory cart. The 2 stationary casters stand 10\" tall when mounted each with 8\" diameter wheels. The two swivel casters each stand 8\" tall when mounted each with 6\" diameter wheels. These haven\'t been cleaned or even oiled yet in any way, and one of the stationary wheels is currently frozen. It can more than likely be freed easily, but the extent of that will be up to the proud new owner. Each has grease fittings and all will clean up great. Take advantage, as these early industrial revolution type cart casters are getting rarer and harder to find by the day, with retail prices going up by the day - these are super beefy and nearly 60 lbs. in all!
