This is a very nice looking and nicely styled antique mantle clock with inlaid wood. It was made by The Waterbury Clock Co. at Waterbury, Conn., USA. circa 1920. The label on the bottom unfortunately was painted or stained over some time in the past, but we believe this to be the \"King Charles\" Mantle Clock. We were able to find one almost identical to this one and that is what it was called.

It has been cleaned and serviced recently and is in good running condition. It runs for an hour or so and then stops for some reason. We know it\'ll be just an adjustment and because you\'ll have to take it to a clock professional for adjustment after shipping anyway, we are leaving it as is. It is striking on a quality heavy coil gong. It counts out each hour, for example; 1 gong at 1:00, 2 gongs at 2:00, etc. and announces each half hour with a single toll. It will have to be adjusted by a professional when you receive it.  

Timeless in styling, this clock has already lasted 80 to 90 years and still looks great. The original silvered dial is in pretty good condition, with some feather scratches.  The case is in nice shape with some rubs in the wood, and a bit of loss to the wood at the very top lip. Please see the \"Condition Description\" & all 12 photos for more details
