Antique Gilbert marblized finish mantle clock model puritan. Clock runs and keeps good time after a few adjustments. I only lightly oiled movement and it is running great. Clock strikes with a bell strike on the half hour and and the top of the hour a deep gong strike counting off the hours. Movement is marked Gilbert Winstead Conn. 1906. Clock bezel is a bit loose from the case and hangs a bit when opened. Looks too have been secured with a screw in the past. Some tarnish on gilt around dial and bezel, paper dial stained a touch, but not too bad for age. The finish all around is crazed and could use a nice dose of orange oil too bring back some of the finish and luster. No major damage with case just a few light nicks and scuffs around. Back door has a bit of tarnish as do the legs of the clock. Nice clean label on the bottom of the clock. Pendulum appears too be original, but not sure about the double ended key. A very cool looking clock, that could be cleaned up a touch or kept as is for its true antique look. Measures 15 inches wide, 11 3/4 inches tall, 6 inches deep. As with any antique clock going through the mail, some adjustment might be required after shipping. I will pack with great care and plenty of bubble too arrive safe too winning buyer.
