Antique, WWI POW Turkish Ottoman, Glass Bead Work, Snake

This gorgeous creation is made with a 68" stuffed/packed woven textile body to which round glass seed beads have been sewn to give the snake skin pattern design.

The underbelly is done in white beads and the body and head are predominantly gold coloured beads with the triangular design done in white, green, red and black colours.

There is a split half way down the body length which is where the join was made so it will need re-stitched to repair it and there is also a small area a few inches further up where it will need a few beads replaced, other than that it is in lovely condition and a great addition to any collectors treasure trove.

Full length - 68" (173 cms)

Width measures from head to tail tip - 15mm to 7mm

Condition - Good but as mentioned above it will need some repair stitching to the join and a three beads replaced, see pics.
