Antique WW1 Wood 1917 Arm Repair Chest M17 for H.S.M.17 Rifles - Army Military:

This wood chest from WWI is in very good condition. The box is for repair tools and parts for the M17 rifle. The green paint is original and most of the label can be made out. The hinges and lid chain are in good condition as well. The internal paper label is still intact and very legible. The numbers on the paper label correspond to red stamped numbers for particular compartments inside the box. There are some small shrinkage cracks in the wood but none of them seem to affect the integrity of the box. There was an unknown wood stock inside the box that I will include with this item. The box is 18\" wide, 14 1/2\" deep and 6 1/2\" tall. It weighs about 20 pounds.
