Victory Washboard #115 from the National Washboard Company. This piece shows use. I have only had it on display (I teach and we looked at WWII era items). There is a hole in the top center piece of wood. I don\'t know if there was something that fit into the hole (like some type of device for hanging the washboard); I used it for the display hook. The board has three distinct pieces of wood. The top piece has the read lettering the spells out Victory No 115, National Washboard Co, Chicago, Saginaw, Memphis. The other two panels have the ridges for washing. It appears to have paint or something that has rubbed against the wood. I have never tried to clean it up; I thought it added to the character of the washboard.
