14 inches high x 111/2 inches in maximum diameter
Condition: Very Good: There is an oldpatina and some losses to the original edge wrap with some wear at the cone. Areinforcing rod of apparent native manufacture has been added with willow wrap.
The Washoe, a one-time semi nomadic tribelived in the region near Lake Tahoe, and down to Carson City, Nevada and the NorthernPaiute lived along the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
This basket was froma San Francisco Bay Area estate sale.
