ITEM DESCRIPTION You are offerding on a ANTIQUE WATERBURY 8 DAY MANTEL CLOCK MOVEMENT, DIAL, BEZEL, GLASS & GONG. This movement is functional. The strike side works well and the time side is running without a suspension spring and drop. Clock strikes the hour on the hour and rings once on a bell for the half hour. The movement pivot holes have been bushed. There is a small solder repair to the top of the suspension spring bracket. It includes a silvered dial with nice cast brass bezel with glass. It also includes the gong. Gong hammer needs new piece of leather. Movement is stamped on the front plate - WATERBURY CLOCK CO. The dial is marked under the chapter ring - MANUFACTURED BY WATERBURY CLOCK CO. U.S.A. Dial is approximately 4-7/8\" across the chapter ring. Bezel is approximately 6\" outside diameter.
