This Waterbury Gingerbread Mantel Clock has a beauty of it\'s own. Highly detailed medium wood tone, glass door with green fern design, complete with original pendulum and key. Clock face is tin with roman numeral numbers - the inside metal circle holding the clock hands also has roman numerals, the face states Waterbury Clock Co. USA, some other writing is present but worn and not legible. The inside compartment shows signs of something missing or have been altered for repair. The clock works very nicely keeping time and strikes on the half hour and according to the hour. The buyer will need to re sync the chimes. The striker is soft strikes - not loud. Eight day spring strike and winds nicely with the key. The pendulum is heavy metal with a brass front or covering and beautifully detailed. The clock back has the original direction label as well as another marked Fetus - Waterbury Clock Co. This clock is very sturdy, and stands well - some wood cracks are present - see photos. Also you may find some dust in the corners!Measures: 22\" height x 15\" wide x 4.5\" depth at base.
