Antique Waterbury Gingerbread Clock:
$151.50
This clock is called a \"gingerbread\" , and was made by the Waterbury Clock Company of Waterbury, Connecticut sometime before 1932.
The case is oak, and in wonderful condition . There has been a finial reattached at some point in the past, as noted in the pictures. The glass would appear to be original, the movement is original , and has been dismantled, cleaned, and lubricated. I\'m not sure that the face is original...hard to say. The movement is marked \" Waterbury Clock Co. USA \" and \" 5 3/8 \"
This is an eight day movement, that strikes the hours on a cathedral gong...and marks the half hours also.
This clock can be displayed either on a level surface, or hung on a wall . Making adjustments to the time keeping is a simple matter of adjusting a screw on the bottom of the pendulum.
A beautiful example from one of our favourite manufacturers!
Shipping will be based on postal code , or zip code, and will reflect the actual cost......the clock measures 15 1/2 \" W X 22 1/2 \" T X 5 1/4 \" D , and will require an oversize box.
Many thanks for looking, and make sure you check out the other clocks that we have listed !
