Antique West German Mercury Glass / Mica LANTERN Christmas Ornament 3 1/2\" tall

Up for your consideration is a very beautiful Lantern Christmas ornament made in West Germany. It is decorated with white mica. It measures about 3 1/2\" tall and approximately 2 1/2\" at the widest point. The lantern glass pattern repeats twice with colors of red, gold and teal. Look at the tiny glass point at the bottom of the ornament. It is in excellent condition. No chips or breaks! Very minimal wear on the paint as can be expected for a piece this old. On the red part on one side, there is a very light hairline, but I\'m not sure if it\'s just in the paint. It doesn\'t appear to be a crack. Please look at the last up close picture for this. The metal top is marked West Germany. What an excellent addition this will make to your collection. How rare to find this in this condition!
