This antique saddle is in good condition for its age. I estimate it to be made in the earliest part of the 20th century or perhaps the latter part of the 19th century. The sturrip leathers, fleece and sturrips have been replaced andare notoriginal. It has a narrow tree to fit a thorobred, as many of the horses of yesteryear had narrow whiters. It is or at least could be made to ride again with some care. The leather is worn but soft and plyable and shows it\'s antique age well. The tree seems solidas far as I can tell. The saddle used to have dots on the skirt edge and fenders they are now gone but could be restored by a professional. Over all this saddle is a good example of what was in style years ago. It is a rare find.
