Antique wood mother of pearl inlay planter Japanese Jardiniere 1900-1940 Gold:

This antique planter has wood painted Japanese design on 2 sides and 2 sides a mother of pearl figure in the outside and a galvanized metal lining on the inside with special fitting bottom. It is decorated with 2 brass metal handles on 2 sides. The metal lining also has handles to lift it out. The planter is 12” wide on each side and 11 ½” high.

I believe this item is Japanese.

There are some minor cracks andwear spotin the inside and the outside, some losses to decoration (Which is pictured)but no serious damage).Vintage piece and has its normal signs of wear.

This is what gives it its character and confirms its age.Photos are binding and a supplementto any words in description in case I should miss something.
