Antique Wooden Rooster Butter Mold Print Stamp Early American Hand Carved:

Antique Primitive Early American fine hand carved Wooden Rooster Chicken Butter Mold, Butter Stamp, Butter Print or Butter Press. Early Americana Treenware from the U.S. Northeast circa 1800 - 1899. I purchased this at an sale a couple of years ago & in doing some research on it I found this information on one identical to it that sold for $607.99 at that time:

"Similar to Rooster in Kindig's Book, Page 167, V-357 & from Richard Flanders Smith Collection"

This Rooster Mold is 4 1/2" in diameter & 3" tall. I would say it is in excellent condition but for some carving marks on the side which you can see in the picture. You will also receive the antique primitive wooden scoop or paddle which measures 8 1/2" long & 5 1/4" wide. It is in great shape except for the 3 small chips on the wood on the edge.
