Offered here for your consideration is a small folded purse or pouch with button clasp comprised of silk or cloth, leather, jade or jadeite, and 14K gold. The leather interior is stamped Yamanaka & Co., 580 Fifth Ave N.Y. The gold is marked 14K.The purse dates to the early 20th century.
The purse is in overall good to fair, as-pictured used estate condition. The leather in the interior is detached at the top section of stitching. Otherwise, there is some minor fraying of the cloth and other signs ofexpected light wear consistent with age.
