This stunning Edwardian filigree 1930s ring has been in my family for generations, & apparently we all save really nice things...so it\'s in incredibly good condition, even the delicate filigree. The metal is 14kt yellow gold over 1ktk; the jeweler said there are some small areas on the band where the 10kt is starting to show through, but not on the face of the ring. The gold is worked into amazingly intricate designs. The stone is a gorgeous, sky-blue spinel; the jeweler said this is probably a \"created\" stone, because it dates from when lab stones were brand new & considered to be superior to plain old \'dirt\' stones, partly because lab-made stones were perfect. The stone is 0.33\" (8.6mm) long x 0.28\" (7mm) wide.
Size approx 4 1/2, could be re-sized by a jeweler.There is a tiny nick, virtually invisible, on one corner of the stone; see between black bars on last pic (extreme close-up).
