This wonderful old prop comes to us from an estate sale of a longtime Western Illinois cane collector. It is appealing, desirable & collectible. The maker is unknown. There are no visible makers marks. This folk art cane has a strong resemblance of Teddy Roosevelt. The carving was made on a knot of the branch which produced varying tones of the face. This old cane has a nice warm patina which adds to the appeal.We present this cane exactly as it was, when acquired. No attempts to clean it have been made. There are some season cracks on the carved face. There are some scuffs & scratches. It appears that there never was a tip on this cane. The end is rolled up which is shown in a photo. These are minor issues that do not detract from the overall appeal & desirability. This is an old antique cane. It has lots of age & visual appeal. It measures approximately 36\" long. This will make a fine addition to any serious collection.
