If you\'re a collectorof antique dolls and bears then you know the name Dean\'s. And we have the privilege of offering you this circa-1930 Princess doll! Dean & Son was a London-based publisher dating back to the start of the nineteenth century. In 1903 they started a new company, Dean\'s Rag Book Company, to produce printed cotton books and toys. (And they\'re still in business today!) The new company quickly gained a reputation for quality toys that included teddy bears and dolls. This Princess doll wears a faded fur-lined velvet jacket, hood, and stockings, and keeps her hands warm inside a fur muff. She stands about 18\" tall and 5.5\" wide. Two blonde bangs poke out from beneath the hood of her jacket. The tag on the back of her hood reads \"DEAN\'S RAG BOOK Co., LTD. LONDON / PRINCESS DOLL MADE IN ENGLAND. She is in very good antique condition, with the typical fading and wear in the velvet. There are losses in her hood and especially the left leg. But her face is fortunately clean and unblemished.
