Three of the best or Christmas . Civil war veterans walking stick .These were sold at encampments after the Civil War. This would have been owned by a Civil War veteran . It is stamped copyright in tiny letters . American eagle over a Flag and clutching a sword . There are crossed canons ,crossed swords ,crossed muskets .Two emblems that say Grand Army Of The Republic with what looks like Abe. Lincoln with two solders ,one North one South shaking hands ,to symbolize reunification of the Country after the war. Great cane with a few small dings Ca 1890 .The shaft is ebonized hard wood with a cow horn ferrule . Very good condition with scrapes ,dings and a shallow age crack .Can be used as a cane 36.5 inches long .The second is a long rolled gold plate lady s cane in very good condition .A few tiny dings .The handle is 7 inches long . No loss of gold ,shiny as new . 35.5 inches long with a cow horn ferrule Ca 1900 .The third is an English gold handle cane with a gold button that says Klinkhardt London . The handle test !0 K gold with acid ,So at least thick 10k over metal ,as gold plate desolves with acid . A tiny ding on the side ,but mostly great This is one good looking cane With simulated bamboo . The top has fancy Victorian script that I cannot read . All thick with a horn ferrule Ca 1895.Can be used as a cane 34 inches long .These are all rare and a great gift to a collector or a better gift to yourself .
