This is a wonderful swivel neck 17\" RARE ANTIQUE French fashion doll with bisque arms and leather over jointed body, that retains its original French label, not mention she is wearing her original dress from France! She has lovely bisque, old underwear, socks and red shoes. When I first got her I thought the shoes were replaced antique shoes, but since then I have seen others like her that have the same red shoes. Her dress I believe is silk and very detailed. I did secure some of the lace to preserve it, but you cannot see it, because of the thread I used. I thought it better than it getting caught on something and getting ripped more. There are few other places that are loose, but do not affect the presentation of this doll. The dress itself is in great shape for its age as well as the doll. She has no hairlines. I checked with a light. There is a little mold mark going horizontal under her double chin, but you have to look for it to see it, because she does have a double chin. All of her undergarments are antique. She is missing her earrings and her wig is a replacement, but a nice mohair one. I have added a hat and pin that are older. Her eyes are blue, and her face is finely painted. I see no identity marks on her head. Her dress is in good shape and I don\'t want to damage it by removing again, besides it has tiny little lace to lace it up. These dolls don\'t come around very often. I bought her from a lady who got her from an sale in France. I have not peeled her leather around the breastplate back for fear of damage. I do not see any damage. She is just as I purchased her years ago.
