L. Pierre Bottemer wasan itinerant artist who traveled widely in the U.S. About 1950 heestablished a studio-home in Laguna Beach where he painted many seascapes andcoastals, often with sunsets. In the 1970s he had a studio in Pompano Beach,Florida. He is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale.
