Very nice antique teddy bear of German origin, bearing working growler, dating from 1910s-1920s
made of gold mohair,
stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
boot-button eyes have been re-stitched and secured with new thread,
pronounced muzzle,
black horizontally stitched nose,
inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
pads have been recovered with cloth long time ago and show some general wear and soiling,
remains of original three claws stitching to all limbs,
long torso, slot-in ears,
has got working cardboard growler in tummy.
Approx. 14 1/2\" (37 cm) tall.
Condition - item is in antique condition with slight general wear and thinning; pads recovered.
