Designed and patented by Ludwig Greiner of Philadelphia, this sweet young ladyis16 1/2\" tall, with beautifully molded and styled, thick blond hair drawn back with exposed ears and curls at the back as well as a thick wave of hair across the top of her head. She has deeply molded and painted, blue eyes, well defined eye sockets, chubby cheeks with nice blush, molded chin and lovely mouth detail. She still retains her original coloring and original horsehair stuffed, commercially made, clothbody with brown stockings and brown leather boots and lower leather arms which need replacing as torn and incomplete.She hasno touch ups or damages (slight paint wear from many years of loving attention). Her paper label: GREINER/Patent Doll Heads/No.3/Patented March 30th, 1858/Ext. 1872/Philadelphia is somewhat worn. She has no cracks or dents, no splits, no damages or odors and is from a smoke free home. Her stuffing is still firm. Her German Dressed/Holze-Masse companion in last photos and much larger, Greiner labeled, sister dolls are not included, each listed separatelyand shown only for comparison.
