Emerson-12\" Oscillating Fan-Brass Blades/Brass Cage

You\'re offerding on an antique Emerson 12\" Brass Blade Fan (model 24646-circa 1915). The 24646 is referred to as a \"transitional\" fan for Emerson. That is, they produced earlier 24646 \'s brass blades with cast iron hubs and later ones with steel hubs. Also, this was the model period they switched from brass cages to steel cages.

The fan up for offer has a highly polished brass cage and a steel hub brass blade. It operates perfectly and runs great on all 3 speeds. The blade is perfectly aligned resulting in a quiet and nice airflow.(Sorry for \"glare\" spots in some of photos).

Truly, the fan has a great look with all the polished brass.

Restoration includes but is not limited to the following:Stripping of old paint--Painting with gloss black professional series paint--topped with a lacquered surface for durability.Polish of brass blades.Bearings/gear box cleaned and lubricated.
New headwires installed.
New long antique style twisted cord is utilized with antique plug.
