I was recently cleaning out a closet and came across a box of four antique/vintage dolls for repair that I had forgotten all about. I will try to photo and list them as time permits. This is a 20\" French papermache/composition Unis 301, similiar to the SFBJ 301. I believe she is all original but she has had some composition repair to the lower legs. The painted shoes and socks and the matte pale pink torso are authentic. She would have been dressed in a French Regional or Alsace Lorraine costume of which there were many variations. She is in fairly good condition but these type of dolls were not very expensive to start as new and they do not always age well. She has her original blue sleep eyes but they stick after they have been closed. She has paint missing around the top of her head where the wig was pulled off and there is remaining glue residue. She has a rub to the tip of her nose and some lashes missing on the left eye. The vintage blonde mohair wig has some light discoloration from age and where her hat/bonnet was. The varnish on the composition is dark and the repairs were matched to it. Her lower legs are wired together inside the torso and move tightly, the string in her arms isloose. Many of the items I sell may have all or part having led previous lives. I do a sniff test but my nose may not be as sensitive as yours. There is no smoking in our home but I cannot speak for the previous owners. I do have a small dog but she has no access to the doll or sewing room. If you find a hair it may be from wigs which I am making or restyling.

I will combine items within reason to save you on shipping costs. I do use some or all recycled shipping materials also so I do not have to charge you for new. I will never knowingly sell you an item that is musty or moldy, however there is a slight chance that the shipping materials may not always smaell \'fresh as a daisy\'.

On fragile items insurance is always included in the shipping cost.
