This is a whimsical and charming Italian majolica piece; is a decanter although there is no sign of it every having a stopper of any kind. It could be used for a bud vase or a candle holder. Take your choice! He is a happy tiger, licking his chops as kitties do after they eat and relaxing against a tree trunk. It is a great piece with no chips or cracks. On the bottom in raised letters: MADE IN ITALY; and a cartouch baring a circle within it a crown, shield, wreath of olive leaves, can\'t find this in my pottery marks book. It measures: 11\" tall x 7\" at widest part and 2 1/2\" deep. I do not accept returns or give refunds.
